Your refund will typically be processed within 48 hours, and funds should appear in your account within 5–7 business days.
Can I try PenZen for free?
Yes! We offer an unrestricted 7-day free trial before you are charged.
What if I need to cancel?
You can cancel at any time. If you cancel before your trial ends, you will not be charged. If you cancel while on a paid subscription you'll have access to PenZen until the end of your billing period.

With that said, please reach out to us if there is anything we can do to change your mind!
Which devices are supported?
PenZen is a responsive web-based application. Access it anywhere you have a web browser and an internet connection.
Do I need to be a security expert to use PenZen?
No! PenZen makes it dead simple for anyone to configure continuous security scanning and monitoring of web-based assets.

The minimum you need to know to start scanning is the website address.
Security scanning makes me nervous, is it safe to run PenZen?
We get it, this is one of the many reasons PenZen exists. PenZen requires no installation or knowledge of your application other than its public website address.

Hackers are already scanning your site—PenZen makes sure you know about vulnerabilities before they do.
Does PenZen Support Active Scanning or Penetration Tests?
PenZen, by default, employs passive scanning techniques. However, active scanning can be enabled to simulate attacks (penetration testing). This feature is particularly useful for thoroughly testing your application.

Passive scanning (the default) is recommended for production sites. Before conducting an active penetration test, ensure you have appropriate backup mechanisms in place. Use this feature at your own risk.
Can I use PenZen to security scan targets I am not authorized to test?
Absolutely not. PenZen is for good, not evil. Any users found to be scanning unauthorized web targets will be banned.
Where is PenZen hosted and data stored?
PenZen is hosted in Azure East US 2. Your information is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Does PenZen support Multiple Factors of Authentication (MFA)?
Yes, and we suggest you set this up under your Account settings.

It's as easy as scanning a QR code and goes a long way to securing your account.
Where can I make feature suggestions?
We're always open to new ideas to make the platform more useful to you. Reach out with your feature suggestions on Discord in the #feature-requests channel.
Can I run PenZen against targets on private networks?
